Petersburg Animal Welfare Shelter, a proud 501(c)3 organization located in Petersburg Indiana, is dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals in need. As a no-kill shelter, we strive to find loving homes for every furry friend that comes through our doors. Who We Are at Pike Animal Welfare Shelter
Our History
Pike Animal Welfare Shelter has been serving the community for over 30 years. We started as a small volunteer-run organization and have since grown to become a respected no-kill animal shelter serving all of Pike County Indiana. Our dedication to the well-being of animals is what drives us every day.
